SGC is a social golfing club. Our focus will (hopefully) always remain that of providing a fun and competitive basis for playing the game. Members do however turn their attention to business now and then in the post game glow time and there is certainly the opportunity for members to find business solutions within the group.
Our solution to this is this section of the web. Here sponsors and members can drop in a paragraph of up to 150 words, describing their business, what services are needed / offered and how to make contact.
It is expected that members respect the principles of SGC and restrict course and clubhouse chat to the usual superficial stuff, keeping the heavy stress material until released from the day's joy.
Authorised sponsors get a paragraph free (fixed, 1 year) and members can buy such space for RMB1000 (fixed, 1 year).

Lincoln Electric's Asia Pacific head quarters are located in Baoshan Shanghai China. Lincoln Electric now have an extensive work force numbering well over 2000 people across China.
Lincoln Electric continues to expand its welding related businesses in China with ongoing expansion of flux cored wire production, welding machine manufacturing, mig wire , submerged arc flux and stick electrode manufacturing. A very modern Automation (Robotics) Division is operational with highly trained automation engineers available for customer consultation and support. Muir Sports
Muir Sports is a wee local Chinese company set up by myself (Rob Muir) and my wife Chris (Ji Ying) early in 2005 after shuffling off 31 years on the corporate coil in the chemical business. We supply sports (primarily "golf") and corporate leisure apparel to specific needs of customers. Our backgrounds allow us to interface effectively with customers and suppliers alike.
We focus on relatively modest demand, supplying mainly items such as Polo shirts, Caps, T-shirts, Windbreakers, Snoods & Umbrellas. Our niche:
- Local demand, customer specific design & logos.
- We have attracted & supply European customers.
- Minimum quantity: 200 items (inclusive size split).
- We occasionally undertake smaller orders.
After customer consultation, we provide a sample & quote after 15 days. Order acceptance confirmed by a 30% deposit and goods delivered within Shanghai after 35 days, complete with fapiao.
We are in business for fun, to keep in touch with the Shanghai world we know and to contribute in a small way to the life-style that we enjoy.
