ALL Events Sign-ups
SGC has on online events sign up system which members can use by logging in using their password.
Bookings for any event close at midday on the Wednesday preceding the weekend event. At this point members who have signed up are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that events may be overbooked already by Wednesday midday. The committee will try to obtain additional tee times in this case.
If there are spare slots left over, these are allocated to guests who have been signed in on the same basis.
All players who have been registered to play will receive an e mail back on the Thursday that provides the details.
Anyone signing up on the web or sending an e mail to SGCbooking@yahoo.com after the cut-off will be accomodated if we can arrange things with the course or balance with cancellations. Such late sign-ups will also receive an e mail back to advise status.
- Please note that late sign-ups may still see empty slots seemingly available on the web. These may not in fact be available as we have to confirm names & numbers to courses on Thursdays (inclusive giving back tee times that we have no names to allocate against).
- Please also note that very late cancellations / no-showers will be asked to pay the green fee if the club is held to this by the course.

Each member understands and acknowledges that he or she has been duly informed of the necessity to get by him / herself, necessary insurances, proper equipment and advice from a medical physician before starting to practice or play golf.”
